Merit Award

Interior Architecture – Residential

The designers spared no effort at every stage of the project. From the onset, they studied the various elements of the existing renovated Hutong house. They introduced architectural elements using complementary materials that are sympathetic to existing colours, proportions and patterns.  The interior design and curated artworks are modern and heavily influenced by Chinese culture. The careful curation continued into the selection of furniture, soft furnishings and displays.  The jury is impressed by the consistency of meticulous detailing throughout this holiday home. The team’s passion and high level of consideration is evident.
