The design of the Garden Curtain Wall is an unconventional approach to an office building typology nestled in a shophouse city block: a departure from the usual approach to usable space, GFA and sky terraces. Targeted incisive design gestures interpret office space and green pockets inserted into a façade expressed as a separate skin in a refreshing way. Executed within a well-scaled envelope, the project lends an intangible and visual design quality that the Jury appreciates.
