In-Between House
The Jury recognises this project for the architectural discipline and craft of its compact residential composition.
A skilfully developed section moves from the double-height entrance through stepped living and dining spaces, complemented by a floating mezzanine and carefully framed spatial connections. The extension of terracotta from the exterior into the interior reinforces the clarity of the architectural language.
The project demonstrates how a relatively small house can achieve substantial sectional depth and spatial richness.
