At its core, the project reveals a simple plan of linear buildings, yet it manages to surprise and engage visitors with unexpected elements thoughtfully interspersed throughout the space. The architect took the opportunity inherent in the topographical challenges to create delightful linkages between the blocks. The cubic motifs and earthen material tone employed in the facade design not only accentuates the structure's form but also successfully breaks down the imposing mass. The jury commends the emphasis on the human experience in a campus scaled building.
