This project challenges the typology of a tile showroom. The various spaces organized around “The Plaza” are whimsically themed to appeal to mass customers. Tiles are used in unexpected way on the floors, walls as well as furniture. Interesting detailing and fixing strategies resulted from these unconventional applications. The showroom transports the customers into a fantasyland where they are free to dream of many possibilities using this familiar material.
